You can see many examples of the planting of grass areas in a variety of locations near to Bow Landscape’s base in East London – but it’s not just planting, there’s also the regular maintenance of these areas which is carried out year-round to the highest professional standards. There are projects of this kind in Stepney, the Highway in Wapping and Mile End Park. As well as plain turfing, there are more decorative planting schemes, like those on Wapping waterfront, Wapping Rose Garden and the Old English garden in Victoria Park. Again, these are all benefitting from Bow Landscape’s regular maintenance service.
Besides these simpler projects, there are more specialist tasks such as tree removal, as was done at Chisenhale school prior to the construction of play equipment there. Renovation work is another speciality; see for example the renovation ground works taking place in Millwall Park on the Isle of Dogs, and similar work in Victoria Park after events held there.
An example of excellent craftsmanship can be seen at Cubitt Town School, where Bow Landscape delivered hand-made planters together with the soil and plants to provide a complete solution. Finally, a less fragrant project was the commission to drain down and deep clean Wapping Canal!
